I’m Ara Tucker — a storyteller, executive, and coach who believes that the stories we tell about ourselves shape what’s possible, both personally and collectively.

Through I’m Here Too, I explore how people make meaning of their lives — how identity, creativity, and belonging intersect with leadership, purpose, and growth. These conversations aren’t just about what we do, but who we become while we do it — and how we stay connected to that truth in the middle of change.

My own story has many chapters. I’ve led people and culture at companies like Audible, Cityblock, and Flatiron Health; studied art and documentary film at Princeton University; and written two novels — How to Raise an Art Star and How to Date a Black Girl — that explore the creative, messy, deeply human work of becoming ourselves.

Through my company, Stories Work, I help leaders and organizations grow through creativity, leadership, and purpose. And through my fiction and this podcast, I keep returning to the same question: how do our stories help us grow — and how do we help each other do the same?
